In this week’s episode of Celebrity IOU, Gwyneth Paltrow partnered with Drew and Jonathan Scott to helm a complete home renovation for her longtime assistant and close friend, Kevin. “Kevin has been an incredible constant in my life, and I trust him with everything,” Paltrow says in the episode. “He’s my right-hand man. He’s such a good person, and he’s always taking care of other people.”
The Academy Award-winning actress teamed up with the Scott brothers to provide Kevin with an updated kitchen, living area, and loft space, as his home was indeed of more modern design elements. The trio worked together to demolish the original kitchen, in addition to installing a new iron staircase railing and re-plastering a fireplace.
Paltrow further emphasized how important Kevin is to her, stating “Words truly cannot express how much I love Kevin. He’s my family.” She added that her assistant-turned-friend “has done so much for me over the past decade plus and I just am so excited to be able to do something for him.”
