The Vancouver Canucks announced that Thatcher Demko would not be starting against the Ottawa Senators, and that Braden Holtby would start with Arturs Silovs as a backup.

Head coach Travis Green said Demko suffered a lower-body injury during morning skate Monday.

Demko is 12-13-1 in 26 games played and started this season, with a .917 SV% and 2.74 GAA. Demko has only played once in April, a loss against the Senators on April 22.
