"Dipika and I have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys," he added.

"And we could not be happier."

Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal also revealed the names of their baby boys -- Kabir Pallikal Karthik and Zian Pallikal Karthik.

Dinesh Karthik was part of the Indian Premier League 2021 as he played a key role in helping Kolkata Knight Riders reach the final. The India wicketkeeper-batsman was busy with commentary stints in England before the UAE leg of IPL 2021. The star batter received a lot of praise for his job behind the microphone and his attires became an instant hit among his fans and fellow members of the cricket fraternity.

On the other hand, Dipika Pallikal, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games medalist, last played on the tour in 2018. The 30-year-old, speaking to India Today last year, had expressed her disappointment at squash not making it to the Olympics in 2024.

"FRUSTRATING. I think we all got to a point where all we could do was laugh. There are some ridiculous sports in the Olympics and if those sports deserve to be part of the Olympics then so do we," Dipika Pallikal told indiatoday.in.

"But I think a lot of good things have happened to our sport because of the bid. It has grown leaps and bounds as a sport. So I think we as a sport have done our work and homework. If the Olympics don't want to have a sport like squash then it's their loss."
