Another high-scoring affair will on the cards when Sri Lanka host Bangladesh in the 2nd and the final Test of the series, starting today (April 29). The Pallekele track produced truckloads of runs in the opening game, which ended in a draw. As many as four batsmen scored a century, with Sri Lanka skipper Dimuth Karunaratne racking up 244.

For Bangladesh, Najmul Hossain Shanto (163) and skipper Mominul Haque (127) scored tons. It was Mominul's maiden ton outside Bangladesh. Riding on their centuries and a 90 from Tamil Iqbal, the visitors finished at 541/7 in 173 overs.

Bangladesh's fielders also spent 2 days out in the park as the home team batted for 179 runs for their 648. All-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva (166) was the second home batsman to score a century.

Bangladesh batted again for 33 overs and scored 100 runs as the match ended in a draw. The pitch isn't expected to change much and the batsmen will once again enjoy their time in the middle.

Sri Lanka will have a forced change in the playing XI. Pacer Lahiru Kumara, who bowled 28 overs in the first innings, has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. The selectors added Lakshan Sandakan and Chamika Karunaratne to the squad. Bangladesh might not make any changes.

The visitors are without the services of Shakib al Hasan. He is playing the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders.
