It’s A Sin star Lydia West shared an epic story on tonight’s return of The Graham Norton Show, before teasing that it may have been ‘confidential.’
The series, which features Olly Alexander, focuses on the Aids crisis in the 1980s, and Sir Elton has previously admitted that he is a big fan of the show.
Reflecting on Sir Elton fangirling over the cast of the show, Lydia recalled: ‘So my friend asked me if he could give Elton my number and I was like, Elton who? And I was like, ah okay!
‘And within two minutes of sending that text, Elton was calling me,’ she continued.
‘And he called all of us, he called the whole cast, it was so sweet.’

Graham Norton joked back: ‘Well I suppose once he called one of you he had to call all of you!’
Lydia continued with her ‘confidential’ story, saying: ‘He flew some of [the cast to LA] for the Oscars party, and he also invited us all round for a curry, and um, I don’t know if that’s confidential information,’ she added.

‘That doesn’t sound confidential!’ Graham quipped.
Lydia continued: ‘I didn’t go because I was away, so it was all the boys, but they had a curry, and maybe an orgy,’ before breaking out into giggles.
Jamie Lee Curtis was left to ask: ‘My question is, is having a curry a euphemism? Because if it is, I need to know what the euphemism is!’
Lydia corrected: ‘Okay maybe, I shouldn’t have been so blunt – they had a curry.’

Sir Elton has previously shared that watching It’s A Sin made him feel ‘lucky’ to have escaped the Aids crisis in the 1980s.
After the series came out last year, he revealed: ‘When I come back to England which is going to be soon, I’m going to have a dinner for all the cast of It’s A Sin at our house because I love that programme so much.

‘It changed my… it didn’t change my life but it made me realise how lucky I was to escape all that and to be reminded of what happened.
‘And so Russell T Davies and the cast are going to come to dinner and we’re going to have a laugh.’
