There is just one group game on the schedule for Canada and that's a matchup with Sweden on Saturday.

Canada's offense has been pushing full throttle at the World Juniors, as the team has posted back-to-back 11-goal performances. Connor Bedard has led the way in both, recording seven points against Germany and six against Austria.

Bedard tied Jordan Eberle's Team Canada goal record at the World Juniors by potting his 14th at the competition against Austria. He has a chance to take sole place of first against the Swedes.

Sweden grabbed a huge win on Thursday, taking down Czechia 3-2 in overtime thanks to a game-winner by Ludvig Jansson. The victory puts Sweden in the driver's seat for first place in Group A.

The only way the Canadians can pass the Swedes is with a regulation win. Sweden just needs to earn at least a point in order to finish ahead of Canada. Both teams' positioning will be impacted by the result of the Czechia-Germany game.
