This article provides answers to frequently asked questions about migrating your existing Google Cloud Platform or Google Workspace billing account to local currency payments in Mexican Pesos (MXN).
General FAQ
To respond to the growing needs of our Cloud customers in Mexico, Google is forming a dedicated entity: Google Cloud Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. Its registered address is Calle Montes Urales # 445 - Piso 5, Col. Lomas de Chapultepec. Alcaldia. Miguel Hidalgo, Ciudad de México, 11000. As a result, Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace accounts of customers with a legal address in Mexico are being migrated to Google Cloud Mexico.

No. Google Cloud and Google Workspace services will continue to run as usual.
Your invoices and billing statements will be issued by and display the address and tax ID of Cloud Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. You can use the information provided on your first Google Cloud Mexico invoice to update any supplier forms and bank account remittance information.
As part of this migration, all contracts you have entered into with Google for Google Cloud Platform and/or Google Workspace services listed below will be automatically assigned to Google Cloud Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., which will agree to be bound by the terms of those contracts. Additionally, your account information, including any associated personal information, will be transferred to Google Cloud Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. While no action is required from you for this change, customers and partners who do not want this transfer of personal information to occur should stop using applicable services and terminate their accounts before the migration date.
Your payment methods (credit card, direct debit, PayPal, invoice) won’t change. However, if you pay by credit card, future payments will need to be made in Mexican Pesos (MXN).
We will notify you via email prior to the migration and again when these changes are effective. The email will be sent to the address on file for your payments profile. To update your email address on file, update the email address using the instructions for Google Cloud at Add or change payments user email preferences and/or Google Workspace at Verify or change your billing email address.
When Google charges in local currency, we convert prices into applicable local currency pursuant to the conversion rates published by leading financial institutions. See your pricing in MXN on the Google Cloud Platform SKUs page or Google Workspace Pricing page.
In the near future, Google Cloud Platform and/or Google Workspace services are transitioning from Google LLC to Google Cloud Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V.. To comply with local laws Google is required to collect your Tax ID and other tax related information.
We will collect your Tax ID and other tax related information. You may have to contact your Billing admin to complete this process.

Due to local regulation, existing credits on account cannot be used to pay future invoices in Google Cloud Mexico. Please utilize any unapplied credits ahead of migration date (check your invoices to determine if you have any).
