The body of a Calgary woman Foothills Search and Rescue helped search for near Cochrane has been found, Calgary Police Service announced Oct. 10.
Police say Amy Elizabeth Fahlman, 25, who was reported missing from the northwest community of Hawkwood late last month, was sadly located deceased.
Her death is deemed non-criminal in nature and no further information will be released, according to police.
Police say they would like to thank the media, the public, volunteers and partner agencies for assisting in the investigation.
Fahlman was last seen on Sept. 29 and was reported missing the following day when she did not return home.
Her vehicle was located Oct. 4. Following the discovery, Cochrane Search and Rescue and Foothills Search and Rescue were tasked to search the area northwest of Waiparous Village, near Cochrane.
