However, netizens quickly deduced that Karan was actually talking about the trailer of Jawan.
Starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Yogi Babu in key roles, alongside SRK, Jawan’s script has been jointly written by Atlee and S Ramanagirivasan and dialogues by Sumit Arora. Shah Rukh Khan addressed the crowd at the Jawan pre-release event. He said, "I have come here only for the reason that I want to learn from here. People keep praising me, but those doesn't mean anything to me. Learning is at all matters. And I learned a lot here." SRK added, "Choreographer Shobi made me dance like a mad man. I told him I can't dance like Rajinikanth or Thalapathy Vijay. I can't even dance like Atlee. But he made me dance a lot." He added, "Insha Allah, hope we will be able to perform our best. And maybe, the people of Tamil Nadu will adopt us as their own."
Atlee shared, "I don't know why people accuse Yogi Babu of things like he is not turning up for shoots and stuff. I personally know how he goes out of his way to help small directors and producers... He acts in some films even without getting paid."
Talking about Vijay Sethupathi, director Atlee said, "There's no one out there like you. No hero has the guts to do what you do. You don't care about anything and keep walking forward that, and we will follow you... No one will realise the heights you are reaching now. They will all know in retrospect."
Atlee said, "I will tell you a story. When I was working with director Shankar for Enthiran in Mumbai. I was told by my friend that we are shooting outside SRK's house. He asked me to pose in front of the gate for a pic. After 13 years, the same gate opened and King Khan himself went, 'Welcome Atlee sir'. So, it's true. If you respect women in your life, good things will happen. Nayanthara couldn't make it today because of Onam. She is still in Kerala."
Sharing a funny story, Vijay Sethupathi said, "When I was in school, I was in love with a girl. But she didn't know. Every Jaanu has a Ram, after all (reference to 96 film). But that girl was in love with SRK. It has taken these many years to have my revenge. I never knew I could express my love, anger and whatever I felt to him. I never knew this guy would turn out to be such a humble person. He told me I am a great actor and assured me that it wasn't just 'stage talk'."
Atlee shared from the event stage, "When we were discussing where to conduct this event... I read an article about Veeramuthuvel, who studied in this Sai Ram College, who was part of the Chandrayan 2 mission. I immediately decided this should be the place. The reason for the film to happen is my brother... Vijay sir. When this opportunity came my way, he told me 'whatever you do... don't miss this film'."
Anirudh Ravichander took to the stage, and said, "One has to give it to Atlee. He has gone from here... Many have done it before with remakes and all that. But he has roped in India's biggest star with his own script and story. That's a huge thing. About SRK, I will miss him. We keep FaceTiming for an hour every night. I request you to keep calling me, sir. He went to London and called me to ask for my shirt size. He presented me with clothes from London. I mean, he didn't have to do all that. I want him to keep in touch."
A video of Kamal Haasan was shown at the Jawan pre-release event. He said, "The relationship I share with SRK is similar to that of what Saket Ram and Amjad had in Hey Ram. I believe he thinks the same way. They have brought together many talents from across the country for this film. I have admired Atlee for his confidence, and I wish the best for Jawan."

The film's name is Hey Ram, by Kamal Haasan, and the actor is Shah Rukh Khan. He played a wonderful role. There's a dialogue that I want to quote which is relevant even now... 'I am a brother of Ram, but my name is Amjad Ali Khan.' What a powerful line!"
Art director Muthuraj shared from the stage, 'I thank SRK because three thousand families prospered in Chennai just because he chose to shoot the film here.'
Jawan's editor Ruben thanked SRK, and said, "I thank Shah Rukh Khan for trusting us. Not just one, but a whole bus of Tamils landed in the North. It needs some guts to do that. Also, he is a great human... For example, at the editing table, he told me to cut his portions and spare the scenes of others."
Jawan's editor Ruben said at the grand pre-release event, "I am not good at Hindi and most of the technicians also aren't. But when I went there to shoot in some unknown locations, everyone around me was Tamil on the sets. We should thank Atlee for making it feel like home. I love Vijay Sethupathi...
