Severe thunderstorm warning issued for:
   Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
   Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo

Current details:
At 8:33 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, nickel to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located near Elmira, moving southeast at 40 km/h.

Locations impacted include:
Waterloo, Elmira, St. Clements, Hawkesville, Wallenstein, Heidelberg, West Kitchener, St. Jacobs, Conestogo, West Montrose, Winterbourne, Bloomingdale, Maryhill, Ariss and Ennotville.

Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops.
