The UConn Huskies are advancing to the Final Four of the NCAA Women's Tournament after beating the No. 1 USC Trojans on Monday. They will play Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes on Friday.
The 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament has been filled with incredible highlights, finishes and unforgettable moments, but Monday night's Elite Eight games took it to another level.
First, No. 1 Iowa downed No. 3 LSU in a rematch of the 2023 NCAA Championship game on Monday. Angel Reese and the Tigers came out victorious last time around, but Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes got their revenge.
Then, Paige Bueckers and No. 3 UConn out-shined first-year phenom JuJu Watkins and No. 1 Southern California. It was the Trojans' first Elite Eight appearance in 30 years.
Iowa and UConn will play in the Final Four. No. 1 South Carolina and No. 3 North Carolina State will face off in the other semifinal.

Paige Bueckers put UConn on the board after using the backboard to finish a layup from under the rim. Aaliyah Edwards was credited with the assist after finding Bueckers from the top of the 3-point arc.
Iowa advances to the NCAA Women's Tournament Final Four. Caitlin Clark led all scorers with 41 points on 9-of-20 shooting from 3-point range. She out-shot LSU 9-8 from beyond the arc. She also dished out a game-high 12 assists.
Iowa will play the winner of Uconn-USC.

Caitlin Clark threaded the needle to Hannah Stuelke under the basket to give Iowa a comfortable 12-point lead with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The bucket gave LSU a 27-26 lead as Reese recorded 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals in the opening quarter.
