Hello and welcome to our live blog coverage of Newcastle United vs Atalanta from St. James' Park. It's the Magpies' sixth pre-season game of the summer after wins over Gateshead, 1860 Munich and Burnley as well as defeats to Mainz O5 and Benfica.
Eddie Howe will be looking for another good performance after pushing Benfica close in the Eusebio Cup earlier this week. With another friendly tomorrow, the Magpies boss is likely to play two entirely different sides across the two games.
