You can set, edit, and delete tasks with Google Assistant. Google Assistant gets help from AI to add tasks to Google Tasks.
Important:
- For now, AI-supported actions are only available in English, in the United States, and to users 18 and over.
- AI can hallucinate and make mistakes, so double check your tasks in the Google Tasks app.

Important: The option to set tasks for a certain location is no longer available. You can still set tasks for a certain time and set routines for some locations.
You can ask Google Assistant to set a task for you. For example, you can say:
- "Hey Google, set a task."
- "Hey Google, remind me to call Mom at noon tomorrow."

Check your tasks
In the Google Assistant app
You can check your tasks in the Google Assistant settings.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps

Tip: You can also say “Hey Google, open Tasks.”

- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Notifications

- Turn Tasks on or off.
