Nano Banana 2 is our best image model yet

We recently introduced our new state-of-the-art image generation and editing model: Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image). It brings the high-speed intelligence of Gemini Flash to visual generation, giving you a new level of sophisticated creation by making once-exclusive Pro features accessible to more people. The upgraded model is better at things like character consistency, text rendering, translation and more. You can try it now — and developers can learn more about building with it, too.

February was a busy month for AI news at Google!
